Blue Resource Group operates two separate salmon processing facilities in Norway with multiple processing lines for both fresh and frozen products.
This gives Villa Seafood primary access to processing capacity for a range of salmon fillets and portions enabeling us to schedule programs with both fresh and frozen products. In addition to this, we also cooperate with other entities as needed to serve our customers demands.
Arctic Filet is a joint venture with a local owner, FREWI, located in the village of Torsken in Northern Norway. Filetfabrikken is majority owned by Blue Resource Group and located on the "salmon highway" right outside Oslo.
The set up and the locations provide two unique strategic positions for the processing facilities.
Arctic Filet produces high quality fresh and frozen salmon fillets and portions. A uniques “Superfreeze” technology provides environmental and quality advantages, and the location ensures proximity to numerous salmon farmers in the region. The total annual capacity is approx 10 000 MT.
